This is most likely for IA-64. Is that what you are using?

Here is what I suggest you do:
  - untar 2.6.26

  - apply Roland's utrace patch

  - apply perfmon2 patch, skip failure on arch/ia64/kernel/perfmon.c.
This file is gone from the perfmon2
    patch anyway.
