Hello, Just a heads-up that I am going to change the counter constraint on CLK_CLK_UNHALTED:CORE_P on Core processors. The event is a synonym for UNHALTED_CORE_CYCLES which goes on a fixed counter whereas CPU_CLK_UNHALTED:CORE_P goes to a generic counter (_P: means programmable).
Old behavior: - UNHALTED_CORE_CYCLES: Fixed counter0 (PMC16/PMD16) first choice, otherwise any generic counter - CPU_CLK_UNHALTED:CORE_P: Fixed counter0 (PMC16/PMD16) first choice, otherwise any generic counter New behavior: - UNHALTED_CORE_CYCLES: Fixed counter0 (PMC16/PMD16) first choice, otherwise any generic counter - CPU_CLK_UNHALTED:CORE_P: any generic counter The same behavior is already implemented on Intel Atom. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ perfmon2-devel mailing list perfmon2-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/perfmon2-devel
