I've spent a day poking around various Linux trees without luck. Is the bug in the stock Linux kernel or only in the perfmon2 patches? Is the fix in a later perfmon2 patchset? The tree I am using is based on the 070725 release. I've gone through all of the MIPS code touched by this, and also with the most recent perfmon2 release and I don't see anything that different. Especially not anything involving assembly files.
