I am sorry about that. Unfortunately I don't have any MIPS systems
handy (like you)
and it is not easy to cross-compile user level stuff.
Phil can probably help.

I have just release 3.7, but I doubt it will fix your MIPS problems.

Just post the error message, maybe it is going to ring a bell with me.
