Hi,

I found a bug in the perfmon support for uncore generic counters on Core i7.
Due to this bug, it is not possible to measure more than 4 uncore events
at a time although there are 8 generic counters.

The bug is located in the PMD -> PMC dependency bitmask. The dependencies
for uncore generic PMD were wrongly point to generic core PMC instead of generic
uncore PMC.

The fix is in the GIT tree now as commit
795065a08a4c0c4bac7794c6ed71ee971ba0788d.

If you have you own kernel with Nehalem support, please apply this patch.
This is relevant for SLES11, for instance.

It is also attached the patch to this message.
