Hi all,

I am looking for the latest interface specification for perfmon2.
I found one at the following url
http://www.hpl.hp.com/techreports/2004/HPL-2004-200R1.html. However, it
explains the perfmonctl() call in details but does not provide specifications
on calls like pfm_create_context(), pfm_write_pmcs() etc. The two files under
the documentation link (http://perfmon2.sourceforge.net/docs.html) provide the
name of the interfaces and the signatures, but do not explain the parameters.
It will be very helpful for me if I can have the interface specification which
provides detailed information about the calls like
pfm_create_context(pfarg_ctx_t *ctx, void *a, size_t sz), pfm_write_pmcs(int
fd, pfarg_pmc_t *pmcs, int n) etc.
My linux kernel version is 2.6.29.4 and I've patched it with
perfmon-new-base-090622. I'm using libpfm-3.9. My hardware is Intel Pentium 4.

Thanks!
