Hi,

I have updated the libpfm4 GIT tree with support for the upcoming
Intel Westmere processor (model 37, 44) as documented in Vol 3b
Dec 2009.

The update includes both core and uncore PMU, though, only core
PMU is supported by perf_events.

Perf_events Westmere support is not yet available in 2.6.33-rc7 but
only in tip-x86. It will eventually show up in Linus' tree.

As for perfmon, in the next coming days, I will also enable Westmere
support in the perfmon kernel GIT tree (2.6.30) and in libpfm for
perfmon (a.k.a. libpfm3). That will allow core and uncore PMU support.

To get the latest libpfm4:
        git clone git://perfmon2.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/perfmon2/libpfm4
