Hi,

I've successfully used libpfm4 to implement performance counters for JikesRVM
[0] a Java in Java meta-circular JVM so firstly thanks for all your hard work.

I've been lurking on the mailing list to keep up to date with interesting new
features / bugs and plan to keep subscribed. However I notice on the
sourceforge project page that there have been frequent commits to the Git
repository which I'm probably also interested in. Subscribing via RSS to the
project page isn't really satisfactory as all I get is something similar to:

2010-05-28 13:53:49 - seranian pushed 3 commit(s) to refs/heads/master in the
libpfm4 Git repository of the perfmon2 project

In fact what I really want to know is that one of those commits added a
pfm_terminate() entry point that my code probably should now call.

Could a mailing list be established where commit messages are automatically
sent when the repository is updated, complete with the commit description and
actual changes (apologies if this actually already exists and I missed it)

Kind regards
Laurence
