Hi Stephane, It came to my attention today that libpfm-3.9.tar.gz file available here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/perfmon2/files/libpfm/libpfm-3.9/libpfm-3.9.tar.gz/download
contains incorrect event codes for Power6. The event code fixes were made upstream sometime back, but a newer libpfm-3.* release hasn't been cut since then. Any chance you could cut a new tar.gz release, say 3.9.1 which includes the latest changes? The event code discrepancy caused some sirens and flashing lights in my neck of the woods today, because we thought perhaps this problem existed in the distros as well (it didn't but we were quite concerned because the window for changes is closing soon).
