Hi,

I have uploaded to sourceforge.net, the final version
of libpfm for perfmon: version 3.10.

There will not be any new releases. The perfmon
project has been abandonned in favor of the perf_events
interface which is in upstream Linux since v2.6.31.

There is a new version of the library, written from
scratch, called libpfm4, which is being developed for
use with perf_events, among other interfaces.
The source is available via a GIT tree on the perfmon2
web site as well.

The major updates in this version include:
- Full Intel Nehalem support (core, uncore)
- Full Intel Westmere support (core, uncore)
- Updated AMD64 Northbridge event tables
- updated examples for perfmon v2.x
- a couple of examples for perfmon2 for v2.6.30 (np suffix)

Version 3.10 should work with 2.6.29, except on HW which
was not supported by this kernel version (e.g., Westmere).
You can also grab the latest perfmon2 from the git tree
on kernel.org.

Thanks to all the people who, over the years, have helped
me build the library.

S. Eranian
