  I not sure I totally understand what you said. Since the link said
"NOT for use with perfmon2.x", is that means libpfm4 is for use with
perfmon3.x or something else?

  And I see the website said "libpfm4 offers much better flexibility and
simplicity to express events". Does it means libpfm4 is much easier to
use than libpfm3?
