Sorry for the last reply, I accidentally hit the send button. I think it needs 
to be 1 to 1. When we use signal handler to catch the overflow, the thread 
being monitored is interrupted and then go to the ovflw handler just like in 
the dear example. 

If we don't use overflow handler, we still need one extra thread to read the 
notification message, for example in the ibs example.

  Is it possible to sampling multiple threads from one thread?
Say, thread 1 is responsible to sample other threads and handles
those threads' overflow notifications? Or I have to use 1-to-1
mapping between worker threads and monitoring threads?
