Hi, Dear All
I am a new user of this wonderful tool. The compatibility problem
really confused me . I list my question below, your help will be
greatly appreciated.

(1) Do we need special perfmon2 patch for relatively new linux kernel
, (I am using 2.6.32, but did not find the patch. )
if the answer is yes, where can we download the patch ?
the latest patch on the website is for 2.6.29.

(2) why perfmon2 can not be found when recompiling the kernel ?
I tried to recompile the 2.6.32 kernel to support perfmon2,
when I was configuring it with "make xconfig", all related items I
found are just "general setup --> Kernel Performance Events And
Counders -- > ***** "
There is no specific items for perfmon2, was it due to the fact I did
not patch the kernel ?

The last question might not be really related to perfmon2
(3) if I go back to use kernel 2.6.29, where can I download it ?
kernel.org does not work any more.

Again, I appreciate your help.
Bests,
Dong
