Hi all, Sorry if this is a basic question (I searched in the list and don’t seem to find a hit). Has anyone had experience with using libpfm for Java applications as all examples in the perf_examples folder are in C? I would appreciate if someone can give me some pointer about that.
Another approach I am thinking of is using a system wide monitoring like oprofile, and I went across pfmon but looks like it hasn’t been updated for long, and the most recent kernel that it supports is 2.6.x, which is really old.
