Just in case you have not noticed yet, there will be a workshop
on performance counters attached to the MICRO-39 conference in
December in Orlando, FL.
I thought the previous edition back in 2004 was very interesting
and quite successful because it brought together the right mix
of people with SW and HW backgrounds.
