Hello I was wondering it it is possible to have pfmon send a signal to a program on counter overflow?
For example, after 200000 instructions retired, send the SIGUSR1 signal to the program. Such a feature would be really useful for some work I am doing, so if such a feature is technically feasible then I might take a look at implementing it.
