Hi, I've released a exmap-0.5.2. This fixes the issues reported by people running on fedora core 4 and on 64bit kernels. Some performance tweaking has also cut the long startup time roughly in half.
There are also now a few web pages, documenting exmap a little better: http://www.berthels.co.uk/exmap There is still an outstanding bug where I've seen the kernel deadlock, so please don't run on a production server or without saving (and sync'ing) anything you really care about in your desktop environment. This seems rare, but you can guarantee it will happen at the worst moment. Following some suggestions by Lubos Lunak, in the future I'll hopefully be adding support for tracking swapped out pages as well as pages physically in RAM. As always, please let me know of any successes, problems or comments. regards, jb _______________________________________________ Performance-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/performance-list
