Most of the API documentation is in the "doc" directory of the source
tree. Have you looked there?
Also the go doc for the "main" parts of Perkeep, such as
https://perkeep.org/pkg/{search|blobserver|index}
And otherwise, as you just did, just ask here :-)

Yes, any doc addition is welcome. But discrete contributions to
existing docs are usually more useful than full write-ups about your
experience.
