I found nothing on CPAN searches for SOM or Kohonen ... Nut no, as the POD says, it is not meant to be fast, it is meant to be illustrative - so bench-marking it is pointless. I'm considering making my first essay into XS with this one, for speed, but it's been 12 months since I even LOOKED at C, and two years since I programed it, but I currently have all the time in the world, so ... maybe there'll be a faster one one day. Cheers, and thanks lee -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6 iQCVAwUAPnCC0adrfekeF/QBAQFeTgQAg6kOlarT1flxsiX+UvLcvqDV2vd1gA8v x0wCML88ce3s4FLlvZE0JFkb42BaEdy516LCBKMpybGNZibVFJSOOK9uvdHG+jCj Qk3kl+E34NR/oQKw4K0UsPCXaGMi3F76AYM9S1Kq1xl63j5U3LbW8lW8o8uzIMBb 4r/WlAk52Xc= =+fPF -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
