mspacek commented on the pull-request: `Use bundled Module::Package in RHEL builds` that you are following: `` There are some facts:
* This change is not related to Fedora. * This change isn't approved by Red Hat Perl team. * This change is against bundling rules. In Fedora https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/?utm_source=chatgpt.com#bundling. There are some possible issues: * The libraries in inc can be old. This s a risk. * With removing of bundled library you need to check BuildRequires in inc directory. This is extra work (The upstream author has different scope with dependencies than the packager) `` To reply, visit the link below https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/perl-Unicode-EastAsianWidth/pull-request/1 -- _______________________________________________ perl-devel mailing list -- perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to perl-devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
