This requires either a very very recent build of bleadperl or 5.7.2 when it
comes out.
Tested on linux freebsd and win2000. Provides only semantics for controlling
threads not for sharing variables nor mutexes / conditions.
make test should proove pretty quickly if things work or not.
Sorry for the delay.
It works on 5.6, but don't expect it to work well at all.
