Well, I'm in no position to tell whether something is a bug or not: I don't know too well how the innards work to be able to match expectations with reality... Look at the benchmarks I just posted on p5p... there are some strange things going on, I would think. Especially the unqualified globals case sheds a strange light on all of the others. Maybe other people will be able to tell me what's a bug and what's not... ;-) Liz
