Ah... I don't think ithreads were really supported in 5.6.1, maybe on Windows, but that's out of my league really. My experience is only with Perl ithreads in 5.8.0,. specifically on Linux.

	Yes, I am running 5.6.1 and I looked at the corresponding
Documentation.
I would recommend getting 5.8.0 from Activestate.

Good application, indeed. But doing this on a Windows box with 5.6.1 would indicate potential trouble for me. Unless you're just talking about a few hundred hosts to ping.
