I'm not sure if this question is off-topic ... I'll ask it anyways ;-)
The current stable Perl release (5.8.8) contains an outdated version of
the treads module (v1.07). Does anybody know why and from which Perl
release on the current (v1.57) threads module will be included as a core
module?
