Thanks for the quick response but that leads me into another problem. I am using a Linux box and Perl and don't know of any CDO modules for that platform. Any ideas??

Contacts (anything in a Exchange folder, actually) are kept in the Information Store, and hence aren't available via LDAP. Try using CDO (Collaboration Data Objects) for that. (via Win32::OLE module... just translate some vbscript examples into perl) Rick -----Original Message----- From: Chris Rogers [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, June 11, 2003 4:05 PM To: Perl-Ldap (E-mail) Subject: LDAP and Exchange 5.5 Folders I have been trying to use perl-ldap to access the contacts, tasks, and calendar folders on an Exchange 5.5 server and have not been having much luck. I can get a list of all the mailboxes and their attributes but I can't figure out how to get to the subfolders in the mailbox. I have tried doing searches with a filter that looks like "fn=*" with a base that looks like "cn=jmcguire,cn=Recipients,ou=VIFANUSAWEB,o=Vibac" but I get nothing. If anyone can help me out or at least point me to a decent example, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Chris
