Subject: re: mem leak

Graham -

A colleague using a perl-ldap based script I wrote for him has been
experiencing a memory leak. He's using Win2K/Apache/AS-Perl. The system runs
out of memory and needs to be rebooted. In looking at the process table (Task
Manager), a number of perl processes using 32-204K memory (0 CPU) are evident
although no connections are active.

A prior version of the script did not exhibit the memory leak. As near as I
can tell, the only major change has been the use of the sorted method.

Are you aware of any memory leaks in perl-ldap or have any ideas as to what
the cause may be?

Thank you in advance for any assistance,

  Robert
