Hi, I am drawing up a large Cognos installation and would like to use extended attributes from an LDAP server as parameters in Cognos.
My question is if what I would like to do can be achieved. I would like to have my users and then add them to groups. To a group I would like to add my extended attributes so that when I from Cognos retreives the information from the LDAP Server I get the user ID and the extended attributes that the group has. Sample: USER INFO USER ID: 211 NAME: STEVE TOOL GROUP HANDSET GROUP: Drill, Hammer The result would be a record like user id: 211 Name: STEVE Tool group: Drill, Hammer If it can be done in another way then thats fine, but I hope that you have seen the picture?
