I just saw this on the modules mailing list.

At one time did we not have two Authen::SASL::Cyrus modules ? The one on CPAN and another ?

If that is still the case, maybe we can now get them integrated.

Graham.

Please create a CPAN Author ID for me:

  name:   Philip Dye
  email:  [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  id:     PHDYE

I would like to take over maintenance of Authen::SASL::Cyrus, see Mark Adamson's email below.

I will first add the Authen-SASL-Cyrus-0.13-server update from Patrick Boettcher.

The 0.14 release would follow shortly with several other sasl features for which I have implemented xs calls.

Btw, the email for Mark Adamson ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) in the module documentation is several years out of date.

Other modules I developed which I intend to release once fully documented.

  Authen::Heimdal
  Authen::Heimdal::Admin
    - Port of Authen::Krb5{,::Admin} to heimdal. Dozens of
      differences in the API and underlying data structures
      made in it infeasible to support of both kerberos
      implementations in one module.

  IO:Socket::SASL
    - Modeled after IO::Socket:SSL. With this module, it became
      quite easy to add SASL/GSSAPI support to Net::Daemon and
      DBD::Proxy.

Thank you,

Hi I haven't worked on it in a long time. If there's something you want to add to the package, go nuts. -Mark Philip Dye wrote: > Are you still interested in maintaining this package ? > > Philip Dye > Senior Research Systems Programmer > Computing Facilities Group > School of Computer Science > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > 412-418-7367 > >
