Support for persistent searches with Net::LDAP?

We recently found that some new client applications are making use of 
the persistent search control against our LDAP servers.
(2.16.840.1.113730.3.4.3 - Persistent Search LDAPv3 control)
 
I have to admit it was news to me that this capability was there...
 
Now I'd like to know if Net::LDAP supports persistent searches?
