This is most likely a limitation of the ldap server itself. What server
are you running? I have not had any issues with cn length with our
active directory installation, or our previous sunone server.

Subject: Common Name length limitation when adding a user account?

I've discovered if I try to add a user account with $ldap->add and the
cn length in the attrs array is greater than 20 characters, the add will
fail. Is this a known limitation?
