Hi all,

I'd like to announce the availability of a new, working version of
Net::LDAP::SimpleServer. A simplistic, minimal configuration, read-only,
LDAP server, all written in Perl. Based on Net::Server and
Net::LDAP::Server, it can serve the contents of a single LDIF file without
all the fuss required to set up a full-blown server. Perfect for those
moments when you need a quick-and-dirty LDAP server up, to protoype or test
something.

I started this a long way back, to have a server in which I could test
another module (that uses a LDAP server), but I had to attend to other
priorities for a while. I decided to put some work on it today, and I have
the first searchable version, which can be already usable.

Comments, ideas, critics and contributions are welcome!

Cheers,
