Has anyone attempted to run Configure on an OS/390 (MVS) system yet for RC2? I ran it using -Dprefix= pointing to a test directory and near the end it went sour:
a2p.y -> a2p.c Extracting myconfig (with variable substitutions) Extracting pod/Makefile (with variable substitutions) Extracting Policy.sh (with variable substitutions) Extracting writemain (with variable substitutions) Extracting x2p/cflags (with variable substitutions) Extracting x2p/Makefile (with variable substitutions) Run make depend now? [y] sh ./makedepend MAKE=make total: test 1: FSUM7351 not found drwxr-xr-x: test 2: FSUM7351 not found test 3: FSUM7343 cannot open "../../../../var/server_root/Counters" for output: drwxr-xr-x: test 4: FSUM7351 not found drwxr-xr-x: test 5: FSUM7351 not found drwxr-xr-x: test 6: FSUM7351 not found drwxr-xr-x: test 7: FSUM7351 not found -rw-r--r--: test 8: FSUM7351 not found drwxr-xr-x: test 9: FSUM7351 not found drwxr-xr-x: test 10: FSUM7351 not found and at this point there are pages and pages of "not founds" and the "cannot open" with relative pathnames pointing to directory that Perl has no business pointing to. It also looks as if Configure hosed his own relative pathnames. Anyone else try this yet? This was on OS/390 2.10 PUT0111.
