Hi, I am having the same problem as Adam Fischler - I have pax'd perl into it's own directory and changed the prefix to this directory via the configure script. No matter where I place perl (command), I still get "make: Error -- PERL=./perl: EDC5129I No such file or directory." in stderr. I can invoke perl OK (so it appears) interactively, but "make test" still fails. Is there a fix?
