I am a long time PERL and MVS systems programmer, who for the first time is
trying to use them together. Not very experienced in the details of the unix
services on MVS, and I am having a hard time building PERL 5.8.3. I keep
getting:

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am under a deadline, and would
