QA should not just deal with regression testing but also with profiling. I.e., which code runs faster/slower under which conditions, have patches changed profiles for the worse, who is responsible or in the position to do something about it. Then the men with the black hats approach that person. And I take it QA will also deal with the perl bug database in some way? Marcel
