I just fielded a question addressed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] asking about "10
essential Perl modules every programmer should know about".
In the reply, I mentioned in passing the Phalanx 100
http://qa.perl.org/phalanx/100/
I took another look at it, and noticed that in the time since it was
published, I have since become the maintainer of Crypt-SSLeay. The page
links to the current-at-the-time author directory (CHAMAS).
My version is 0.57, but the version in Joshua's directory is 0.51 (which
cannot even be built with current OpenSSL libraries).
I imagine that there are other modules in the same boat. Perhaps a
better solution is to avoid the ego points, drop the author link, and
just point to http://search.cpan.org/dist/Crypt-SSLeay/ instead.
