Hey guys.

Oslo.pm is planning a Perl QA Workshop/Hackathon in Oslo, Saturday April 4th to Monday April 7th, 2008. This is the official "Call for Attention" mail. If you care about general Perl QA issues, please direct your browser to the following page:

  http://perl-qa.hexten.net/wiki/index.php/OsloQAWorkshop2008

We (Oslo.om) would like feedback from anyone interested in this! Please update the wiki page, or reply to this message on the perl-qa mailing list:

 - Will you come?
 - Who should be invited formally, and why?
 - What tasks should be worked on?
 - Where can we look for additional funding?

We already have funding for 2 people, and are likely to get a few more. Our goal is to fund the round-trip to Oslo plus lodging for at least 7, preferably 10-14 people (yeah, yeah, we're aiming high, let's see how it goes.) And no, this hackathon is NOT for invited people only.

As of Jan 7th, the hackathon is _very_likely_ to happen - especially if our other sponsor leads decide to join the gig.

Questions/comments are welcome! Either as replies to this mail, or on the wiki talk page at:

kind regards,

- Salve J. Nilsen (leader, Oslo.pm)
