That's step one -- replace all of this boilerplate arcana with something which does the right thing by default, and preferably without people having to know what the right thing is. Step two is to dump all CPAN Testers reports from ancient clients which send known buggy reports. (Step three is probably to stop rewarding people for sending ever-more reports and start rewarding people for sending *useful* reports.) -- c
