Since CCS0 (spec, not module) is about to go into core <https://rt.perl.org/rt3/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=118959>, and this becomes canonicalised as best practice, I'd like to know which considerations went into the design of the spec as I have the feeling that it's not as good as it could be.
Especially, how does it compare to prior art, e.g. the formats described or used by Debian, specfiles, LTjake, hex, hanekomu, rgiersig, rsavage or cdolan? How does a user extend the format, taking advantage of the machine readable aspect, to add metadata using the vocabulary established by ascope?
