Im trying to build perl-5.8.8 from an ubuntu source package (.deb file) But it fails with the same error in this page: http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.perl5.porters/2004/06/msg92172.html it says there that it is a dependency problem but does not explain what it is. can anybody help me with this?
