[Perl-unix-users] Getting a guarenteed hostname path

Hi all,

 

Anybody know of a guarenteed method of getting a full hostname & domain name of a unix box.

 

Hostname() just returns bilbo.

 

I need bilbo.xxxxx.com

 

Any ideas?
