I am currently operating on a system that has the GD Perl
module installed (version 1.27). As I am creating a script which exports
files to JPEG formats, having the appropriate library extension within the GD
library is something that I am attempting to obtain :-) (it appears to be
missing). However, although I have tried installing the library globally,
my account apparently does not have adequate permissions. Is there any way
to install the GD library (not module) locally? (Please don't suggest
contacting the system admin. --- if I was to do that, I might as well tap my
heels together three times, mutter "there no library like GD", and then have the
script magically work ;-)
