I don't know if I subscribed right mailing list. I have problem to build perl4. No problem for perl5. I know this is very old version, but i need it to build Momspider.
Is anyone here still using perl4? I am trying to install perl on solaris2.6 . The perl4 needs two compiler, one is gcc or cc.(I use gcc). Another is yacc or bison. ( I use bison -y beause yacc is not completed). I build it and install it. But when I run make test, I got one test failed: ...... ..... .... op/readdir.....FAILED on test 3 op/regexp......ok op/repeat......ok op/s...........ok op/sleep.......ok op/sort........ok op/split.......ok op/sprintf.....ok op/stat........ok op/study.......ok op/substr......ok op/time........ok op/undef.......ok op/unshift.....ok op/vec.........ok op/write.......ok lib/big........ok Failed 1 test. make: [test] Error 29 (ignored) Thanks for help!
