I'm looking for a way to monitor activity in a specific directory that
will work on both a Windows 2000 server and Red Hat Linux 8.0 server.
I need to know when a file is added to a direcotry and act on that file.
I know this can be acomplished through the WIN32 API but I'm more
interested in a cross platform solution.
