It's a pretty good one. although I think it really depends on what you want to do with perl. It gets you started on using the language, but I found it wasn't all that helpful for building a web-based database application.
For that I recommend mysql by oreilly, and CGI Programming by oreilly. Those two are good. --- "Danny L.
