This is the module that is designed for that purpose: http://search.cpan.org/~mpiotr/User-Utmp-1.6/Utmp.pm I have not used it personally. By the way, this was the first module that came up in a search for "wtmp" on search.cpan.org. Use that resource--it's handy. P.S. Is there anything you can do about that huge sig? Since you're posting in HTML (ugh), why not make the font size <=6pt or something.
