Ok, thanks to all…Spreadsheet::WriteExcel will do what I want but here is a few more questions.

  1. I need to find the last row of data so that I can write to the next open row.
  2. I need to be able to change the range on a graph based on the new row so that it shows in the graph.

Any ideas??

Best regards,

Craig Sharp

Check out Spreadsheet::WriteExcel, it does exactly that.  The docs give pretty useful examples.

Subject: [Perl-unix-users] Populating a spreadsheet from files

Hi all,

Does anyone have an example of using Perl to populate an excel spreadsheet with data from multiple files.  I need to do this automatically.
