Is it
just me or does this function simply not work? This may seem silly but I could
swear that I have gotten it to work before but I can not any
longer.
I looking at the source for the latest and for a
version dated March, 1998 and concluded that I don't know how it could have
worked:
a) The SHARE_INFO_502 structure is
never initialized (filled with 0's). There is at least one parameter that MSDN
declares must be a 0 value.
b) Several members of the
SHARE_INFO_502 structure is never populated: shi502_reserved and
shi502_security_descriptor.
Since the security descriptor is never populated I
always get an error and the $Param scalar is always set to 501 (security
descriptor is invalid).
Has anyone gotten this to work on Windows
NT/2000?
Someone please show me what I am missing at this early
hour?
