Does anyone use Perl
scripts to perform machine backups? Our current backup structure consists
of each machine backing up to a central server, and then the server is backed up
to a DLT tape every night. Each machine uses a batch file with a series of
XCOPY commands. I'm not sure if Perl could speed this up
any.
