Apologies for a possible duplicate post; original went to the list moderator
because of an email address mixup. Anyway, the question...
I'm pretty new to this Win32 Admin stuff so am probably missing something
obvious. I'm trying to run a script (Managing User Privileges (example 2.9))
from Dave Roth's book Win32 Perl Scripting. Each attempt produces a Dr.
watson complaint of Access Violation. I've tried to narrow the problem to a
portion of the script but discovered that just the line
use Win32::Lanman;
causes the complaint. I've removed and reinstalled the Lanman module with
the same result. I seem to be missing one of the administrator privileges
that I'm trying to modify/grant via script. The obvious follow-on question
is if the administrator doesn't have a required privilege to modify
privileges, how is it done? I'm at a loss and any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Bob
